I bought a Louis Vuitton. EVERYTHING checks out from the shiny red edge on the handles to the little lines in the LV on the outside to the heavier metal zipper. BUT it has a vinyl inside. Is that okay?
I own about 9 LV bags, none of them have vinyl lining. If you purchased it new the only way it is authentic is if it was from an LV store or e-luxury.com, don't fall for the "it's a factory second" line, there is no such thing with LV.
